The Bottom Line: The State is Far From Perfect & So Are We.
We realize the State is doing a lot of work AND Colorado is still NOT in Compliance with Olmstead or the Americans with Disabilities Act.
WE STILL NEED a Comprehensive, Effectively Working Olmstead Plan with Measurable Goals & Reasonable Plans to Bring Housing, Services, Etc. to Scale to Meet the Need.
We have proposed on-going Statutorially Authorized Comprehensive Olmstead Planning -- State we need to get on this --- we've already overlooked the State's funky public comment time frames for the Mental Health Task Force.
We are overdue to hear back from the State on Olmstead -- we would like to hear back on -- Dec. 7, 2016 -- maybe not a day that will live in infamy but one in which we can really get going on Comprehensive Statutorially-Authorized On-Going Olmstead Planning probably very much in line with the Court-Ordered Minnesota Olmstead Plan.
