Disclaimer, Limitations and an Invitation

DISCLAIMER: The information and material contained on this website do not constitute legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship.  We are providing this information for informational purposes only  and do not represent or guarantee that it is correct, complete, up-to-date, or applicable to the unique particular facts of your situation or case.

LIMITATIONS:  Much of what we do is public policy advocacy.  At this time, most of our advocacy/legal efforts are focused towards realizing the promises of the US Supreme Court's 1999 decision in "Olmstead" which held that unnecessary institutionalization of people with disabilities amounts to discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

That means that many people needing legal help will not get it.

We will do our best to make referrals and to provide options as we know and understand them.

And for many people-- it will not be enough.

AN INVITATION:  If you or someone you know is one of those people,  please consider becoming involved with Orchid or other organization that you feel could make real and substantive change for the better.
