Disability Law Colorado (the State's federally mandated protection & advocacy office) does an amazing number of things, including providing large scale information & referral.

Orchid's information & referral is generally by  E-MAIL ONLY and we may take up to a week or more to respond..

The Need & the Resource Challenges

​Orchid engages primarily in Systemic Advocacy primarily on the Orchid site and limited outside websites.

We are not set up to do large scale information and referral:  Disability Law Colorado and Colorado Cross Disability Coalition may be able to help.

There is a huge need for Individual Legal Advocacy and we are well aware of it.  We provide civil rights advocacy (not criminal defense - although we often work in a criminal justice context).

​We think most families would like free, relevant services for their family member if they can get them.  To the left are some additional resources that may help.
