Val's Take: I'm a big fan of film. Film/Video is the great modern art that can INTEGRATE so many other arts and ideas and insights.

Especially if someone has a lot of ideas and a lot of associations --- there is a desire to share that with other people --- who have their own ideas and associations. There can also be a physical need to "MANAGE" this constant influx of ideas as best one can.
