Giftedness, emotional Intensity & DYsregulation & The Criminal Justice System

                   Education is now talking about the unique learning and emotional needs of what they call:  "THE EXCEPTIONALITIES":
  • Learning Disabilities
  • "Twice Exceptional" -- children with Disabilities & Giftedness, &
  • Giftedness

                 Further, it has become very clear that "INTELLIGENCE" and "GIFTEDNESS" aren't necessarily what we think they are.  Instead, they are marked with:
  • Great Physical &/or Emotional Sensitivity to the Environment
  • Great Emotional Intensity
  • Great Sense of Fairness
  • Greater Susceptibility to Physical & Mental Illnesses
  • Those Physical & Mental Illnesses can Impair Cognition
  • A LOT of these people are IN are in the Criminal Justice System -- A LOT of these people are RUNNING our Criminal Justice System.  [New Study On Attorney Well Being Reveals Serious Concerns]

                  The REALITY is EDUCATION AND PUBLIC HEALTH aren't  as "EXCITING" as "CRIMINAL JUSTICE" and THAT'S A GOOD THING.
